According to a court document, Lively allegedly demanded that Swift, whose popular song is on the soundtrack of It Ends With Us, publicly support her in her continuing conflict with co-star Justin Baldoni.
It seeks information’relating to witness tampering and evidence spoliation’, Freedman contended, namely that Lively had tried to ‘coerce’ Swift into publicly supporting her.
The letter claims that Baldoni’s lawyers were informed that “(i) Ms. Lively requested that Taylor Swift delete their text messages,” which may have included information from more than ten years of romances, friendships, and private secrets, according to insiders.
Additionally, it states that Swift’s lawyer was contacted by Lively’s lawyer Michael Gottlieb, who ordered “that Ms. Swift release a statement of support for Ms. Lively, intimating that, if Ms. Swift refused to do so, private text messages of a personal nature in Ms. Lively’s possession would be released.”
