Recently, a guy from Georgia was arrested for leaving his children unattended at a nearby McDonald’s playground while he went to a job interview.

According to the Augusta Press, Chris Louis, 24, was charged on March 22 with deprivation of a child. On that particular day,

A patron of a McDonald’s in Augusta saw three children, ages one, six, and ten, playing alone in the indoor playground.

A local officer who responded to the customer’s 911 call found that the youngsters were not with an adult. At 4:30 p.m., a witness said he saw Louis.

With the children before he left the restaurant, came back, and left again. Deputies arrested him at the McDonald’s when he returned there at 6:18 p.m.

He said to the cops that he didn’t have a vehicle and that he and his children walked from his apartment to the restaurant because he didn’t want to have them walk back by themselves.
