Nursing influencer Hailey Okula has tragically died due to complications with childbirth after having documented her two-year struggle to conceive.
According to her husband Matthew Okula, the emergency room nurse, also known online as Nurse Hailey, passed away after the birth of her first child.
“I share with the heaviest of hearts the devastating news of my beautiful wife, Hailey Marie Okula, passing away unexpectedly due to complications from childbirth,” he posted on Instagram.
“The extent of the loss I feel is beyond words. I could never have imagined a better wife and partner than Hailey. She was intelligent, hardworking, enthusiastic, trustworthy, beautiful, and most importantly, incredibly loyal.
