Diddy is actually on trial right now, and we’re probably not even halfway through, so those are some pretty huge ifs. All of this seems a little premature, to be honest, even if Peter Doocy of Fox News asked the question in response to Trump’s recent pardons.
Both Trump and Diddy are well-known in New York, and during an episode of “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2012, Trump declared, “I adore Diddy… He’s a terrific guy and a good friend of mine, you know.”
However, Trump appeared to disassociate himself from Diddy in his response, stating that they haven’t spoken or seen each other in years.
Trump claims that his friendship with Diddy “busted up” when he entered politics, but he maintains that this would not affect his consideration of possible clemency.
