We know that Musk is promoting the new xAI–X combo as a means of providing “smarter, more meaningful experiences to billions of people,” as well as furthering what he called a common goal to “seek truth and advance knowledge.” Grok, xAI’s chatbot, which is accessible to premium subscribers and integrated into the platform’s everyday user experience, may already be well-known to X users.
The agreement represents a continuous attempt to integrate AI with consumer-facing platforms, leveraging real-world data to power machine learning technologies, as part of Musk’s larger tech empire, which also includes SpaceX and Tesla.
