After shooting their classic western “Tombstone,” actor Kurt Russell stated that Val Kilmer had given him an acre of property as a present.
Russell, who costarred with Kilmer in the 1993 classic as the dentist-turned-gunslinger Doc Holliday, said he wanted to gift his co-star something.
To demonstrate his gratitude. Russell portrayed American lawman and folk hero Wyatt Earp. Giving presents to co-stars is a “mandatory” gesture,
Russell told GQ last year. “When you’re working with people, you’d get them, sometimes at the end of the show, you get them trade gifts,” Russell said.
He gave Kilmer a site at Boot Hill Graveyard, a prominent Tombstone, Arizona cemetery that is home to some of the most well-known Old West personalities.
