In China, two touring boats carrying tourists capsize, leaving three dead and fourteen missing.

According to Xinhua, Chinese President Xi Jinping called for “all-out efforts” in the search and rescue activities as well as the care of those who were hurt.

Additionally, according to the agency, Xi “understood the importance of strengthening safety measures in tourist attractions” and other “large public venues.”

Zhang Guoqing, the vice premier, was sent to supervise the rescue operations. The event on Sunday occurs little over two months after a boat accident in central China claimed the lives of eleven individuals.

Nineteen passengers were thrown overboard in the Hunan province disaster when a passenger boat collided with an industrial vessel.
Emergency personnel were sent to the scene of the incident, which happened on February 28 at around 10 a.m.

Soon after, two persons were discovered dead and three more were pulled out of the sea. They took the three survivors to the hospital.
