On September 14, 2015, Zachary Allen Gross, 31, from Northern Kentucky, was involved in a serious incident in which he physically assaulted his former partner, Marilyn Stanley, 26.
He reportedly used a sharp object to cause significant injury and then directed his dog to act aggressively toward her, resulting in further harm.
In an especially disturbing act, Gross allegedly placed a portion of Marilyn’s hair in a plastic bag and left it at her mother’s residence.
Following the incident, Marilyn sustained multiple injuries, including facial trauma and severe swelling around her eyes.
At the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, doctors determined that Marilyn had sustained severe injuries to her scalp, affecting approximately 80% of the area.
