Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is speaking out in defense of rapper Tory Lanez.
Alleging he was wrongly convicted in the 2020 shooting of rapper Megan Thee Stallion — and claiming there’s unseen Ring camera footage that could prove his innocence.
Appearing on TMZ Live Tuesday, Luna said that Lanez never uttered the infamous phrase “dance, b**”**, which prosecutors claimed he shouted before shooting Megan following a party in the Hollywood Hills.
The Canadian rapper is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for the incident.
Why Is a Florida Congresswoman Involved?
Luna, the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress from Florida, explained that she became interested in the case after speaking with mutual friend Amber Rose.
She said that after reviewing the details, she uncovered multiple inconsistencies in the prosecution’s case.
