Shapiro represented notable clients including the band Sum 41 and Story of the Year.
A spokesperson for Sound Talent Group expressed their sorrow, saying, “We are devastated by the loss of our co-founder, colleagues, and friends.
Our hearts go out to their families and everyone affected by today’s tragedy. We ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
The company confirmed that three employees, including Shapiro, died in the crash, though the other names have not been released.
Shapiro was also an experienced pilot and certified flight instructor with over 15 years in aviation, according to his company, Velocity Aviation.
