Before Karmelo returned home from jail on Monday, many of the Anthonys’ neighbors were unaware that they shared a home.
The upscale neighborhood known as “Richwoods” is close to Centennial High School, where Anthony was the football team captain and track star prior to his arrest.
The majority of the residents were unhappy with the teen’s presence and even voiced concerns about their safety.
Anthony went to Centennial High School, which is within walking distance of the exclusive area.
The Anthony family, who lived in the upscale gated community of Richwoods, claimed to have financial difficulties.
