“Teen’s Bail Reduced After Tragic Incident at Texas Track Meet”

On Monday, the $1 million bail for a teenager accused of fatally stabbing a 17-year-old at a Texas track meet was reduced to $250,000.

Anthony, 17, appeared in court facing a first-degree murder charge for the death of Austin Metcalf. Austin was tragically stabbed in the heart earlier this month and passed away in the arms of his twin brother, Hunter.

If Anthony posts bail, he will be required to wear an ankle monitor and will be restricted to his parents’ home.

Without Judge Angela Tucker’s approval, the teenager accused of fatally stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a Texas track meet could potentially post bail by later Monday.

The teen, who appeared in court wearing a gold jumpsuit, handcuffs, and chains, watched as defense attorneys requested a further reduction in bail, proposing a new amount of $150,000.
