Teenager Granted Bail Reduction, Set for Release After Tragic Incident

“Father Explains Financial Constraints in Court as Teen’s Bail Reduced”

In court, Andrew Anthony, the father of the teenager accused of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf, was questioned by prosecutors about his inability to afford the $1 million bail.

Andrew explained that although over $400,000 had been donated for his son’s defense, he did not have access to these funds and could not use them for bail. His attorneys also argued that the donations should be allocated for legal defense, not bail.

Additionally, Anthony’s father was questioned about an incident involving an altercation at the teen’s high school earlier this year.
