The constant bullying, he said, wasn’t just happening at school.
It occurs all day and all night since people in this day and age have phones and tablets. “They really can’t get away,” he remarked.
In response, the school issued a statement, according to the Daily Mail, stating that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding Autumn’s death.
“We are conducting a thorough review, but we are unable to discuss the specifics of this situation due to federal privacy laws and out of respect for the family,” the school stated. “Any reports of bullying or disputes between students are taken very seriously by our schools.”
The tragedy has left friends, family, and the larger Roanoke community in shock.
Cher Nelson Johnson, a family friend, posted a video montage of Autumn’s brief life along with a heartfelt remembrance.
