With Lilo & Stitch, Tia Carrere’s career flourishes.
Meanwhile, Disney’s hugely successful Lilo & Stitch remake is helping Carrere’s own career take off (again!). Carrere portrays the sympathetic social worker Mrs. Kekoa. On its first weekend, the film made an incredible $341 million worldwide, and it is currently dominating the box office.
Carrere said, “It’s satisfying to portray someone real and relatable—not just glamorous.”
Carrere’s Future Goals: More Music and Acting
Carrere has no intentions of slowing down in the future. She’s looking forward to the future, which includes further music collaborations with her Grammy-winning musical partner Daniel Ho and new acting roles.
With enthusiasm, she declared, “I want to continue creating for decades.” “I’m passionate about acting and singing.”
