Although a major chapter in the Chrisley family’s story has come to an end with the pardons, Savannah stressed that the struggle against the criminal justice system is far from ended.
“Our family has won today, but there is still much work to be done to combat unfairness and erroneous convictions in our criminal justice system. “I’ll keep using my platform and voice to speak up for people without one,” Savannah told Us Weekly in a statement.
According to TMZ, Savannah and her brother Chase had already begun recording their own reality TV comeback, which was supposed to follow their life while their parents were incarcerated. The pardons will also be seen on television.
Now, when Todd and Julie are released, the cameras will be rolling in Kentucky and Florida, bringing the family back together.
