It included personal video and commentary about his creative path and health issues. Kilmer was an actor who also dabbled in politics.
He supported Obamacare’s religious exemptions in 2013, declared interest in running for governor of New Mexico in 2009, and attended rallies for Ralph Nader’s 2008 presidential campaign.
Following the announcement of his passing, condolences flooded social media. “See ya, pal,” actor Josh Brolin said on Instagram.
