Quincy Jones, a legendary figure in the world of music who collaborated with musicians such as Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles, has away at the age of 91.
The news was verified by his publicist Arnold Robinson, who also shared a statement from Jones’ family that went as follows:
“Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’s passing.”
“And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him.”
Despite the fact that Jones’s family indicated that he was “truly one of a kind,” no cause of death was disclosed.
