The pages of King Charles III’s history reveal Queen Elizabeth II’s last journal entry. The late queen maintained an extensive personal diary throughout her life and long reign, ending only two days before her death on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96.

According to Town and Country Magazine, royal historian Robert Hardman came onto the Queen’s journal while working on the revised sections of his book about King Charles. He said that the late queen, who ruled for an unprecedented 70 years,

According to Hardman, she entered at Balmoral, Scotland, where she had her last meeting with Liz Truss, the prime minister of the United Kingdom at the time, before she died two days later.
