Conor McGregor has said that he would battle Logan Paul in a boxing contest instead of the rumored UFC showdown.
The 36-year-old MMA fighter recently lost a legal lawsuit against Nikita Hand, who she claimed had ‘brutally’ raped and ‘beat’ her at a hotel in Dublin in December 2018, pinned her to a bed, and choked her three times.
Although McGregor denied any misconduct, the Dublin High Court ruled in Hand’s favor, and the boxer must now pay €250,000 (£200,000) in damages.
“I want to show [my daughter] Freya and every other young girl and boy that you can stand up for yourself if something happens to you, no matter who the person is, and that justice will be served,”
Hand said after the outcome was announced. “As much as I regret it, everything that happened that night was consensual and all.
