The person who taped a skinny bulldog inside a trash bag and left it there is being sought by Des Moines, Iowa, police.
Around 4:30 on Tuesday, December 10, the dog was discovered with his head protruding from a black plastic waste bag next to a train overpass that runs beside southeast 14th Street.
Police claim that the dog was unable to walk because the sack was fastened with duct tape. The guy who discovered the dog said that the bag drew his attention.
Because it seemed to be moving, according to a statement released by police spokesman Sgt. Paul Parizek.
The dog weighed just 23 pounds (10 kilograms) when it was discovered, which is far less than the 50 to 55 pounds that the American Kennel Club considers to be the typical weight for a bulldog.
