Tesla has recalled around 700,000 cars because of a problem with the tire pressure indicator. The National Highway Traffic.
Safety Administration announced on Thursday that the electric vehicle manufacturer is recalling some 2024 Cybertrucks, 2017–2025 Model 3 cars,
And 2020–2025 Model Y cars because the tire pressure monitoring system warning light “may not remain illuminated between drive cycles, failing to warn the driver of low tire pressure.”
In its safety recall report, which was made public on Tuesday, the NHTSA said that “driving with improperly inflated tires increases the risk of a crash.”
Approximately 694,000 automobiles are impacted by the recall. According to Tesla, a free over-the-air software update was made available as a fix.
On February 15, 2025, owner notice letters are anticipated to be sent. The automaker has previously experienced recalls.
