Scientists have shown that women with naturally red hair feel pleasure and pain differently than those with other hair colours, so it seems that there are more reasons to be envious of them than just their stunning locks.
On the Radio 4 Today show, Professor Irene Tracey, the vice-chancellor of the University of Oxford, revealed why redheads enjoy these extra advantages.
The “Queen of Pain,” a prominent neurologist, observed that each person has a unique pain threshold, characterising it as a subjective sensation that is difficult to research.
