According to rumours, ‘Catwoman’ Jocelyn Wildenstein has away at the age of 84. The moniker was given to the New York socialite, who was born in Switzerland, because of her recognisable feline traits.
Paris Match reports that Wildenstein passed away in a Parisian mansion on Tuesday, citing a pulmonary embolism as the cause of death.
Born Jocelyne Périsset, she wed Alec Wildenstein, a multibillionaire art dealer, in 1978. Their divorce in 1999 was well reported.
She claimed to have nothing left in her bank account when she filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2018,
Despite having allegedly gotten $2.5 billion in the divorce and $100 million annually for the next 13 years as part of the settlement.
