Jocelyn Wildenstein, aka “Catwoman,” passed away on Tuesday. She was eighty-four. According to the Daily Mail, Lloyd Klein,
Wildenstein’s fiancĂ©, told Agence France-Presse that he was “saddened to announce” the socialite’s death at a Parisian mansion.
The 57-year-old fashion designer informed the French news agency that a pulmonary embolism was the cause of Wildenstein’s death.
In 2003, Klein started seeing his late fiancée, and 14 years later, the two were engaged. Alec N. Wildenstein, an art dealer, was her former spouse; the two eloped in Las Vegas in 1978.
