This is the harsh truth that astronauts in orbit may have to face until the year 2025.

The only people who have maintained an optimistic and upbeat demeanor despite the tragedy are NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Barry Wilmore.

The journey has not been smooth and is far from done; in fact, they may remain stranded in space until February 2025, according to some estimates.

After taking off sixty-four days ago, the crew encountered many issues with the spacecraft, extending what was scheduled to be an eight-day voyage to the International Space Station (ISS).

Five helium leaks, five dead maneuvering thrusters, and a partially open propellant valve were all problems that the Boeing Starliner encountered.

Along with other astronauts, they are now onboard the International Space Station (ISS), but unlike Wilmore and Williams, their methods of returning home have not failed.
