A ‘Cosby Show’ actor claims that six years after pictures of him working at Trader Joe’s went viral, he’s still having financial difficulties.

Geoffrey Owens became well-known for his role as Elvin Tibideaux on the popular comedy “The Cosby Show.”

However, he is still having difficulty earning a livelihood as a middle-class actor six years after becoming viral for his work at Trader Joe’s.

Owens recently said, “I struggle every day to make my ends meet,” in an interview with V-103, a radio station in Atlanta.

Images of Owens working at a Trader Joe’s in New Jersey went viral in August 2018, igniting discussions on the struggles of the typical working actor.

Although he was aware of certain job-shaming remarks made by others, Owens said that he mostly got encouragement and support.

The actor said that he received a lot of attention and notice in his daily life for almost two weeks after his viral video.
