Actor Hudson Meek, 16, of “Baby Driver,” passes tragically after falling from a moving car.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, which will be aired live, according to a message on his social media accounts.

According to his family’s obituary, Vestavia Hills High School, where he was a sophomore, will establish a scholarship fund in his honour.

The message on Meek’s Instagram account said, “His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.”

He was referred to as “one of AOA’s first and brightest stars” on Sunday by Vestavia Hills-based Acting Out! Academy on Facebook.

“May you always shine, Hud. You will be sorely missed,” the Academy of Performing Arts stated. “Please join us in offering up prayers for his incredible family during this trying time.”
