After reportedly being set on fire by a guy on a NYC train, a woman passes away.

 

When the culprit was apprehended, a lighter was discovered in his possession. The inquiry is still underway, and charges are still pending.

According to surveillance video taken inside the train vehicle, the culprit lights a blanket that is put over the victim, and the fire quickly spreads.

The victim finally stood, completely consumed by the flames. According to the New York Post, the suspect is seen sitting and observing.

While the victim is consumed in flames in a bystander video that was subsequently posted to social media.

In a another video, an officer can be heard yelling, “Did anybody see anything? Has anybody noticed anything? when the train car filled with smoke.

The lady passed away at the site even though the officers put out the fire. According to authorities, no other passengers or emergency personnel were hurt in the event, and there is no proof that the victim and the suspect knew one another.
