According to a December 20th Time article, Squid Game’s next season will include a dynamic cast, new games, and a larger-scale production.
The program would explore topics like choice, democracy, and societal divide while showcasing both new and recurring characters with very personal narratives.
With the third season of Squid Game scheduled for release in 2025, creator Hwang Dong-hyuk faced the formidable task of producing two more seasons in quick succession.
Hwang allegedly lost eight teeth as a result of years of stress. “I had to write, create, and shoot seasons two and three, back-to-back,” he told Time.
