At 105, the oldest surviving Pearl Harbour survivor passes away.

 

According to military historian J. Michael Wenger, on December 7, 1941, there were an estimated 87,000 military soldiers on Oahu;

Just 15 of them remain now, according to the AP. The National Park Service reports that 2,390 Americans lost their lives in the Pearl Harbour assault.

According to statistics from the National WWII Museum, 129 Japanese troops were killed and one was captured after the raid.
