Rejecting ideas based on ideology and accepting the biological fact of binary sex are not “transphobic.” Transgender rights and scientific fact should never have to be mutually exclusive.
The FFRF is a US non-profit organisation that was established in 1976 that advocates for the separation of religion and state.
“We have the utmost respect for Richard Dawkins and Steven Pinker, and we are thankful that they served on our honorary board for so long,” said Ms. Laurie Gaylor, president of the FFRF.
“We don’t think it’s mission creep to defend LGBTQ rights in the face of the religious pushback in the US. Such a separation was most likely unavoidable due to the widening gap in viewpoints.
