“This was never a money-making venture for me,” she said. “Netflix eventually purchased the film. However, I didn’t realize this movie would be profitable until the week before the Toronto International Film Festival.

But that’s when her guilt began to take over. This made me ask myself, ‘Do you feel terrible about this?’ And I did,” the graduate of Self Reliance added.
