From 1964 until her death in 2023, Newhart was married to Virginia Quinn. The pair had ten grandchildren and four children, Robert, Timothy, Jennifer, and Courtney.
“People more and more come up to me saying thank you for all the laughter,” Newhart said in a prior interview with PBS, discussing his legendary status.
I never change my response. It was an honor. Indeed, it is the reality. Our deepest sympathies go out to Newhart’s loved ones at this tragic time.
