Due to an unreported allergy, Frito-Lay voluntarily recalls some Lay’s Classic Potato Chips.

 

“Would have been able to purchase these chips as early as Nov. 3, 2024.” The company’s official recall webpage states.

That the recalled items have the UPC number 28400 31041 and the “Guaranteed Fresh” date of February 11, 2025.

In addition to having a blue “Party Size” banner and a red Lay’s logo, the recalled 13-ounce bags are yellow and have the manufacture numbers 6462307xx or 6463307xx.

According to the firm, this recall does not impact any other Lay’s products, flavors, sizes, or variety packs.

Frito-Lay has not reported any illnesses related to this recall as of the time of publishing. Noting that it has “informed the FDA of this action.

” Frito-Lay said this week that “consumers who have an allergy or sensitivity to milk should not consume the product and discard it immediately.”
