As part of its ongoing expansion, Costco has announced six additional sites that will open in early 2025.
The additional expansions are expected to debut in March 2025, bringing the membership warehousing giant’s global footprint to over 900 sites.
California, where Costco launched its 897th shop in Pleasanton on November 27 and thousands camped overnight to be among the first to enter,
Will host two of the new locations, while Texas will host two. In a call with investment analysts earlier this month,
CEO Ron Vachris said that the Pleasanton launch established a new Costco record for the highest-ever first day sales for a U.S. warehouse at $2.9 million.
During its fiscal year 2025, which ends on August 31, 2025, the corporation plans to establish 29 additional sites.
