“I like discussing topics that I’m enthusiastic about. I would want to be informed about it. I don’t have enough political knowledge to pretend to understand current events or what positions people are taking on policy.”
He didn’t grow up in a “voting culture” where his parents “pushed” him to cast a ballot, the “Son of a Sinner” singer said.
“They did push respecting the president though,” he remarked, adding that he believes the role is “the hardest job in the world.”
