‘Hatred’ From Classmates: A High School Alumnus Remembers Taylor Swift

McLane acknowledged that she doesn’t know much about Swift now when she was a student at Hendersonville High School in Tennessee, where the singer was known as “Blank Space.”

She elaborated: “I was a church kid, I didn’t really listen to Taylor Swift, I kinda just got into Taylor Swift so give me some grace.”

In 2006, Taylor is, I believe, a junior in high school, and I am a freshman. I believe “Teardrops On My Guitar” was released sometime during the summer.

“Obviously she got really big and that’s the year that she left school, she was homeschooled in 2006.”

Swift was often ‘hated’ by her classmates at school, McLane said, particularly when she began to achieve notable success early on.

She continued: “Keep in mind, these are her peers, you know, this isn’t like just random people on the internet.”

A former actress who creates content with her stepbrother and earns over $200,000 a month has announced her pregnancy.
