In Riyadh, Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury for the second bout by unanimous decision, solidifying his position as the world’s heavyweight champion and the undisputed king of the boxing ring.
Usyk won the bout 116–112 according to the votes of all three judges. Usyk had defeated the undefeated Fury by split decision in their last bout earlier this year, and he triumphed once again in the rematch after landing some powerful strikes.
Boxing fans could “watch me go to work on this f**ker,” as Fury had said, but Usyk’s fists once again demonstrated why they are the greatest in the industry by doing a job on Fury.
Following his loss the last time, Fury made a vow to reduce his pre-fight joking and showboating, but it ultimately did him no favors as Usyk won again.
The size of Fury’s beard had worried the Ukrainian camp before to the fight, but boxing authorities affirmed that everything was OK and that the two could knock each other out cold.
