With Usyk’s arms moving almost continuously to try to overcome Fury’s better reach, the battle began in a rather cagey fashion as each fighter looked for an opportunity and threw their blows.
Although Fury had prevailed in his last three rematches, he was eventually unable to find the necessary skills to overcome Usyk and get revenge for his earlier loss. Simply put, the Ukrainian was too skilled.
Just like the previous time he faced Usyk, Fury looked superior in the first few rounds of the battle, but the champion persisted and became more impressive as it went on.
As the battle continued, Fury seemed to struggle more and more, and Usyk delivered several strong blows at this point.
The outcome of the second bout was much the same as the first; it lasted twelve rounds and Usyk grew into the fight as it progressed.
