Jimmy Carter, a renowned human rights advocate and former president, passes away at age 100.

According to ABC News, Jimmy Carter, the former president of the United States who was a strong supporter of worldwide human.

Rights during and after his time in office and who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his lifelong commitment to the cause, has away at the age of 100.

The Carter Centre on X also shared the news of Carter’s passing, posting, “Our founder, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, passed away this afternoon in Plains, Georgia.”

A website dedicated to the late president was also shared by the Carter Centre. The couple’s children, John William (Jack), James Earl III (Chip),

And Donnel Jeffrey (Jeff), as well as their daughter, Amy Lynn, outlive Carter, whose wife of 77 years, Rosalynn, passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 96.
