A message from the vacation apartment complex was discovered by the girl’s shocked mother while going through the police records.

“A staff message book sat on a desk at the pool reception for most of the day, requesting our block booking,” she wrote (via The New Zealand Herald).
“This book was meant to be read by all employees and, unknowingly, likely even by guests and visitors,” the author writes.
