Before taking the stage in Pennsylvania, where he was later shot and wounded in an assassination attempt, the flag was untangled.
The assassination attempt’s prime suspect is 20-year-old Bethel Park, Pennsylvania resident Thomas Matthew Crooks.
The FBI has said in a recent report that Crooks “acted alone,” but they have not completely eliminated the possibility of “any co-conspirators associated with this attack.”
