Their outstanding performance as they triumphed 97-81 against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Cup final on Tuesday.

The rumors about Lillard’s difficult transition to a new team with Antetokounmpo and his 2-8 start are dwindling in the latter days of October and early November.

Antetokounmpo finished the Thunder with a triple-double of 26 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists, earning him NBA Cup MVP. In addition, he recorded two thefts and three blocks.

Antetokounmpo scored 66.7% from the floor and averaged 30.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 2.8 blocks, and 1.2 steals in six Cup games.
