NEWS FLASH: Robert De Niro was just sent into a meltdown by Elon Musk!

 

Silicon Valley and Hollywood, two opposing ideas of liberty, advancement, and civic duty. As an outspoken supporter of free speech, Musk has been explicit about his views on political correctness and “cancel culture,” which he believes restrict free speech.

A lot of people in Hollywood weren’t happy with his 2022 acquisition of Twitter (now X), which was partially motivated by his need to provide a forum for candid discussion.

Many celebrities departed Twitter, expressing disapproval of Musk’s stance on free speech, when Musk promised to let Trump return to the platform (now X) if he so desired, along with other problematic voices.

Musk finds Hollywood’s self-righteousness and repeated assertions that it “fights for justice” to be phony.

He thinks that by endorsing a strict, biased vision of development, leaders like De Niro, who criticize political rivals as dangers to democracy, unintentionally suppress variety of opinion.
