There has been prior discussion about the couple’s connection outside of the show. Schwimmer said in the Friends:
The Reunion documentary that he had a “major crush” on Aniston during the first season of the program, and Aniston confirmed the confession.
We were both head over heels for one other at one point, but we never got over the fact that one of us was in a committed relationship at all times. “We were respectful of that,” Schwimmer said.
During their breaks from practice, he said, they would often “cuddle on the couch.” In Friends: The Reunion, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer’s romance was discussed.
