His parents, Nicole and Sam Teusch, have chosen to initiate legal action against the Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation and its Board of Trustees after grieving the loss of their cherished son.
They say in their lawsuit that the institution and several of its employees “repeatedly informed about the bullying of Sammy Teusch (‘Sammy’).
By students under the District’s supervision, and yet did nothing to address it.” There was also “callous indifference” on the part of the business and personnel.
“As a direct and proximate result of the District’s and these individuals’ gross dereliction of arguably their most important duty, Sammy took his own life on May 5, 2024,” the complaint alleges.
According to reports, the little youngster was severely bullied by his classmates while he was in the third grade.
