Sammy’s parents said that the bullying persisted after he transferred to Greenfield Intermediate School when he started fourth grade.
“During breakfast period, Sammy was chased throughout the school, and would attempt to hide in a bathroom stall, often refusing to come out,”
The lawsuit stated, before going into detail about how another student allegedly “physically assaulted” him.
According to the records, there was another incident in which Sammy was struck over the head with an iPad, resulting in injuries to his neck and shoulders as well as a black eye.
The complaint claims that Sammy’s parents reported over 20 incidents to the school’s officials, but they were either ignored or dismissed.
