The collapse of a budget package that would have kept the government operating prompted Democratic U.S. Representative Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut.
To launch a sensational tirade on Thursday on the House of Representatives floor, specifically targeting Elon Musk, the CEO of X.
“And you know what? President Musk advised them, “Don’t do it!” which made them frightened. Avoid doing it! Put an end to the government! On the floor of the House, DeLauro shouted.
DeLauro, who is eighty-one, has a little purple hair, and had her first tattoo last year, continued to criticize Musk.
“Consider! What is he aware of the hardships people face when the government shuts down? Are his workers on furlough? No way! Is he on furlough? “No!” DeLauro went on.
“People are also not paid when the government is shut down! And maybe some folks on the opposing side of the spectrum might have.
