Now, about seven days after his near-death experience, the former business magnate turned politician gave an impassioned address, pleading for national unity.
“I am here tonight to share a message of optimism, strength, and confidence,” Trump said. We shall usher in a golden age of equality, justice, and freedom for all people by working together.
His next statement was, “Our society must be healed” of its strife and division. As Americans, we have a common destiny that binds us together. We stand together. If we don’t, we ruin it.
